Call for Application for Training Consultants

 

The Himalayan Education and Development (HEAD Nepal) is a non-profit making, a local non-governmental organization working for the empowerment and overall development of people with disabilities in the Himalayan region of Nepal. It is the only one leading and pioneering organization in the field of persons with disability in Humla district. In partnership with Mission East, HEAD Nepal is implementing the project entitled “A Brighter Future – enabling persons with disabilities in remote mountain communities to exercise their rights II” in Sarkegad Rural Municipality of Humla district from January 2021 to December 2022. In this regard, HEAD Nepal is seeking innovative, self-motivated and dynamic short-term trainers for the following position.

Trainer for Carpentry Training 1 1 month (1 – 30 September 2021) One month of basic carpentry training course is designed and the participants are trained in carpentry skills. ·       Carpentry training module of one month is prepared, training is delivered, specific training schedule is prepared and followed properly, regular class is taken, the equipment and materials are properly handled, used and taught to the participants, training report is prepared and submitted.

·       Periodic evaluation of the participants learning progress is done and recommendation for further support and setting up an enterprise is made.

 

The candidates having at least 5 years of relevant work experience in carpentry profession.

Having past experience in delivering the same training, has good communication and facilitation skill

 

Simkot RM, Humla
Trainer for Local Fishery Training 1 5 days, (1-5 September 2021) Five days of training package on    Local Karnali River Based Fish Farm is designed and the participants are trained in fishery.

 

 

Five days of training schedule on Fishery training is prepared, training is delivered, regular class is taken, assessment and evaluation of the participants learning progress is done, training report is prepared and submitted. The candidates having at least 3 years of relevant work experience in fishery, having experience in delivering training in the same area, and good communication and facilitation skill Sarkegad RM, Humla
Trainer for Homestay and Basic Hotel Management Training 1 20 days, (1-20 September 2021) Five days of training package (a manual) on Homestay and Basic Hotel management is designed and the participants are trained. Training module of 5 days with specific schedule is prepared, training is delivered, regular class is taken, assessment and evaluation of the participant learning progress is done and recommendation is made, training report is prepared and submitted. The candidates having at least 5 years of relevant work experience, Having past experience on delivering Training on the same area, good skill of communication and coordination including training facilitation skills and reporting.

 

Sarkegad RM, Humla
Trainer for Sustainable Agriculture and Market Linkage Training 1 15 days, (20 Sep-5 Oct 2021) Five days of training package (a manual) on Sustainable Farming and Its Market Linkage is designed and participants are well trained through a (ToT) and are able to deliver the same training to the farmers. 5 days of training module with specific schedule of the training is prepared, Tot is provided, regular class is taken, assessment and evaluation of the participants’ learning progress is done, recommendation on enterprises and market linkage is made, training report is prepared and submitted. The candidates having completed BSC AG, at least 5 years of relevant work experience, having past experience on delivering Training on the same area, good skill of communication and coordination including training facilitation skills and reporting.

Trainer for Saving Credit and Cooperative Management 1 15 Days (20 Sep – 5 Oct 2021) Three days of training package (a manual) on   Saving Credit and Cooperative Management is designed and participants are well trained through a (ToT) and are able to deliver the same training to the farmers. Three days of training module with specific schedule of  Saving Credit and Cooperative Management training is prepared, Tot is provided, regular class is taken, assessment and evaluation of the participants learning progress is done, recommendation is made, training report is prepared and submitted. The candidates having at least 5 years of relevant work experience, Having past experience on delivering Training on the same area, good skill of communication and coordination including training facilitation skills and reporting.

Trainer for Tailoring Training 1 3 months (15 Feb – 15 May 2022) Three months of basic sewing and cutting course based on Humla is designed and the participants are trained in basic sewing and cutting skills. Sewing and cutting training module of three months is designed, training is delivered, specific schedule is prepared, regular class is taken, the equipment and materials are properly handled, used and taught to the participants, participants learning assessment is done, recommendation is made, the final training report is prepared and submitted. The candidates having at least 5 years of relevant work experience in tailoring profession.

Having past experience in delivering the same training, good communication and facilitation skill.
